AN INTERESTING AND UNUSUAL KOZUKA

This is a very interesting kozuka. It is made of shakudo and is in the shape of a tsuka for a sword. The menuki has been placed under the shakudo ito and is made of gold washed copper. Don't ask me how they did that, it is amazing workmanship. The fuchi and kashira have silver highlights. It measures 9.9 cm by 1.5 cm. This kozuka would look great mounted on a koshirae or would also be a great addition to your fittings colection.
