RARE SUKASHI TSUBA BY NOBUIYE
This is something not found everyday. In fact, I have only sen one other sukashi tsuba by Nobuiye and that is in the Tokyo Natiional Museum. This is a truly superb tsuba by the most famous tsuba maker of all time, Nobuiye. It is round and large measuring 3 3/8 inches round. It is well carved in a very interesting pattern. This tsuba exudes strength and dignity. It comes with a hako gaki by Kanzan Sato as well as Tokubetsu Hozon papers from the NBTHK.
