SATSUMA TSUBA
This is an unusual iron tsuba that looks like the work of the Satsuma school. This theme of beanpods is often found on tsuba from this school. It measures 7 cm by 6.6 cm. The iron is absolutely beautiful with a lovely patina. There is a mall amount of gold decoration on the leaves on the obverse of the tsuba.
