This is a cute item that I just acquired in Japan. It is a netsuke made in the form of a miniature hand cannon. While it is not functioning, it is quite realistic in its attention to detail with several moving parts. The overall quality of the piece is very good and captivating. It certainly is a good addition to my collection of mezurashii mono 珍しいもの(unusual things).
