HIGO KOSHIRAE

This is an excellent Higo koshirae for a wakizashi of about 21 inches in length. The saya is lacquered black with a striated pattern like wood bark. The tsba is Higo in design. It isa iron with a silver pattern inlaid. The tsuka has a typical iron Higo fuchi and kashira with gold and silver inlay. The menuki are shakudo flowers with gold highlights. The ito is a redish brown lacquered leather.
